Hello

Industrial Designer& Fractional Development Partner

I’m a product designer and development lead with 20 years of experience turning complex ideas into real, market-ready products. From high-precision lab equipment at miniPCR bio to professional-grade tools at Stanley Black & Decker, I specialize in the critical transition from concept to physical reality.

I bridge the gap between engineering requirements and human-centered design. Whether you are a solo founder or an established team, I provide the senior-level strategic oversight and hands-on engineering needed to get your product right the first time, ensuring it is user-focused, manufacturable, and ready to scale.

About me

How We Can Work Together

I offer flexible engagement models tailored to the specific stage and needs of your business:

  1. Fractional Development Partner (For Early-Stage Startups) In this role, I act as your "one-man product team." I provide the senior design leadership and engineering oversight usually reserved for established firms, while simultaneously performing the hands-on CAD, prototyping, and DFM work. I remain deeply embedded in your company as a strategic partner until you are ready to hire and transition to an in-house team.

  2. Traditional Design & Engineering Consultant For companies with an existing team or a specific scope, I act as a specialized subcontractor. I work externally to tackle discrete projects—such as a new product line extension, a complex mechanical challenge, or a user-experience overhaul—delivering high-level results that integrate seamlessly with your internal workflows.

Strategic Value & Expertise

Across both models, my goal is to help you navigate the high-stakes decisions that dictate a product's success:

  • Strategic Decision-Making: Developing a roadmap that balances long-term ambition with the immediate need for a functional MVP.

  • User-Centered Strategy: Using research and rapid prototyping to validate assumptions before you commit to expensive tooling.

  • Design for Scalability: Moving beyond "one-off" prototypes to a design that a contract manufacturer can actually produce at a margin.

Background

My approach is built on a foundation of both design and management, holding an M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University and a B.Des. in Industrial and Product Design from Tel Aviv University.

I am particularly passionate about partnering with founders in the Medical, Life Sciences, Climate Tech, and Resilience Technologies sectors. If you have the technology but need a partner to turn it into a product, let’s talk.

Thanks for submitting!
